Where to Buy Vinyl Plank Flooring Near Princeton and Middlesex County, NJ

Search for flooring near Princeton and you get three kinds of result: big-box store pages with no local stock information, lead-generation directories that sell your phone number to contractors, and franchise pages describing a service area rather than a place. Very few of them can tell you what is physically available this week, at what price.

We are a warehouse in Monmouth Junction with the flooring in it.

Where we are

Our warehouse is in Monmouth Junction, in Middlesex County — a few minutes off Route 1, close to Princeton, Plainsboro, Kendall Park, Dayton and South Brunswick. Worth clarifying for anyone searching: Monmouth Junction is in Middlesex County, not in Monmouth County, which is a different place about an hour east.

Visits are by appointment so that someone who knows the product is free when you arrive, rather than you waiting behind a contractor pickup. Call 914-290-2647 and we will set a time.

What we actually stock

43 colors of SPC rigid-core waterproof vinyl plank across four series, held here, not drop-shipped from a mill:

• Alpine — 5mm, 22 mil wear layer, 23.95 sq ft per box
• Montclair — 6.5mm, 22 mil, 19.16 sq ft per box
• Harper — 6.5mm, 22 mil, wide 9" × 48" plank, 21.45 sq ft per box
• Citadel — 8mm, 32 mil, 21.45 sq ft per box

Current prices for every color are published on the flooring page. We also carry solid wood shaker kitchen cabinets.

Pick up, or we bring it

Pickup from the warehouse costs nothing and you can have it the same day if it is in stock. Bring something with a flat load floor — a box of Montclair is about 19 square feet of stone-composite plank and they are not light.

Delivery is on our own trucks, usually within one to two business days, and we call to arrange a window before the truck comes. The charge is based on one thing — distance from the warehouse:

Bridge and tunnel tolls are added at cost if the delivery crosses into New York. There is no fuel surcharge, no handling fee, and no percentage of your order value — a large order and a small one cost the same to the same address, because it is the same truck making the same trip. Beyond about 90 miles we ship by freight; full detail is on the delivery page.

That radius covers most of central and northern New Jersey — Princeton, Edison, Piscataway, New Brunswick, East Brunswick, Hightstown, Robbinsville, Monroe, Somerset, Freehold and out toward Trenton — and reaches into Staten Island, parts of Brooklyn and Queens, and Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Samples first

Nobody should choose a floor from a screen. Floors look different under New Jersey daylight than they do under showroom lighting, and different again at night under warm bulbs. Order up to five free samples — $15 shipping, free when you order flooring at the same time — and live with them for a few days.

If you would rather see the whole room first, every product page has a room visualizer: upload a photo of your actual room and the floor is replaced with the color you are looking at.

What we don't do

We supply flooring. We do not install it, and we do not have an in-house crew or a preferred-installer kickback arrangement. If you need someone to lay it, ask neighbors, or ask a local tile and flooring contractor for references on recent floating-floor jobs.

We would rather be straight about that than sign you up for a package. What we will do is make sure you order the right quantity, the right series for your subfloor, and get it to you when you said you needed it.

Come see it

Call 914-290-2647 or use the contact page to arrange a time. Bring a photo of the room and, if you have one, a sample of whatever is on the floor now.
